As can be seen there was a great mix of recitations, songs and speeches, all received with much enthusiasm by the company.

For the third year Michael and Paul provided a superb musical accompaniment and the traditional fare was well served by staff from the 'Tipsy Nipper'.

The evening was expertly presided over by club President Bob Garmory in his usual inimitable style and ended at midnight with the entire company singing Auld Lang Syne for the second time. It was earlier sung to the orginal Burns' tune which can be heard by clicking the link on the front page.

Past President Alex Abercrombie and cousin (club member) Dougie Abercrombie, take a farewell in front of the Bard. Alex leaves us soon for greener pastures.
