Visit to The Howff Club Dumfries

Club members Kev Thompson and Dougie Abercrombie (6 and 5 from left) were both guests of the Howff Club, Dumfries, at their Hallowe'en Supper.
Both sang for their supper and were well received. A big thanks to the Howff for their warm hospitality and the tour of Burns country on the morning after!

It is with great regret that the club announces the death of Hugh Docherty: club stalwart, regular member of the concert party, past president and member for over 40 years. Sadly Hugh never really recovered from a stroke he had in February and passed away yesterday (Saturday 12/5/07). He will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with Jessie and the family at this difficult time.
